Stellar debute EP by fresh talent from Groningen. Toucan Coma and Personal Care met whilst volunteering at Simplon in Groningen, where Toucan Coma was working as sound tech and Personal Care as a booker for the little known DIY evening Simplon UP. After discovering their mutual love for tropical sounds they met up to jam and proceeded to record a large part of what is now Lake Kivu at Personal Care and Fransje Wraptastic's shared attic studio. The process was largely inspired by a shared idea of a synthetic jungle atmosphere drawing on facets of 4th world music, post-club as well as Personal Care's experiences growing up in various tropical countries and his Rwandan roots.

Toucan Coma makes psychedelic ambient music that takes you on a journey to a temperate rainforest full of autotuned birds and synthetic sunshine.

Personal Care started making electronic music within the lo-fi house scene in 2016 concocting various live improvisational performances with his housemate and musical partner at the time Fransje Wraptastic as Het Voorprogramma. Throughout these performances he moved on towards a more experimental approach in his music making practice, which ultimately culminated in a love for making ambient and Post-Club music.
